What is a virtual race?



  • A virtual race is a race that you can run at any location, at your own pace, alone or with a socially distanced group of friends. This enables you to train and stay active while being able to participate on your own terms.

What is the timeframe for completing my virtual marathon, half-marathon, 5k, or kid’s run?



  • You have from Sunday, February 7th through Sunday, February 14th to complete your virtual race.

Do I have to go to Packet Pick-Up if I’m doing the virtual event?



  • No. Do NOT go to Packet Pick-Up if you are running the virtual event. Packet Pick-Up is only for participants of the in-person event. Swag will be mailed to virtual participants post-event.

How do I participate in the virtual race



What is RaceJoy?



  • RaceJoy is a free app for your phone that allows you to ‘”Run Anywhere”. The app will track wherever you’re running while providing enjoyable audio updates throughout the race.

How do I download RaceJoy?



  • It’s simple. Head to the “RaceJoy App” page on our website for more details.

Can I switch from the in-person event to virtual?



  • No problem! Just fill out the form on the “Contact Us” page and let us know you’d like to switch from the in-person event to virtual.

Will I still get the race swag if I chose the virtual option?



  • Yes! We will be mailing out race swag to all participants. You will receive your medal, t-shirt and discounts from our great sponsors through the mailing address you use during sign up.

How do I submit my results?



  • If you are using the RaceJoy app (which we highly encourage), your results will automatically be submitted to us once you complete your run.

What if I want to go Virtual but not use the RaceJoy app?



  • We highly encourage using the app to complete your virtual run, but if for some reason you’re unable, please submit your run results through our “Contact Us” form on the website and we will be sure to include you in the results.

Will there be awards for the virtual race?



  • No – all results will be compiled once the virtual race is complete, but we will not be giving top finisher or age group awards. There is no way to determine a winner while everyone participates virtually on different courses with very different elements.

Do I have to live in Florida to register for the virtual race?



  • No! We encourage and welcome everyone to register for the race. No matter where you live or what your ability, we want you to join us!
