We STRONGLY recommend that you plan on parking in the Parking garage/Lot you choose by 5am AT THE LATEST! Carpooling is Strongly Recommended. If possible, Uber or Lyft is an ideal option for a Start Area drop-off. There will be congestion At the Start & Finish area as thousands of cars will be traveling to the area! Please…please, give yourself enough time to park so you are not rushed on race morning. The National Anthem will begin at 5:30am. The Event will start promptly with the Wheelchair participants leaving at 5:45am. The Mass Start of the Marathon & Half Marathon will begin promptly at 5:50am, with the 6K following shortly after at 6:10am.
If you plan on arriving in the area at 5:30am to find parking, and make it in time to the Start Line, you will be LATE! 😉
Shuttle Bus Information
Shuttle Bus Service will begin from the Finish area at 4am and will run until 6am. If you are parking near the Finish on the beach, plan on being at the Finish area Shuttle Bus stop by 5am. The shuttle buses will travel to and from the Finish area to the Start area and vice versa from 4am to 1:30pm. If you park near the Start area, the shuttle bus stop is across the street from the Finish area. Shuttle Buses run from the finish to the Start area to return you to your cars if you parked in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
** The Shuttle Bus stop at the Finish area is located at the intersection of Harbor Drive & Seabreeze Blvd/A1A. Use the following address for a direct location: 3013 Harbor Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

** Our recommendation is to choose a parking option that is a bit further away from the Start. There will be less traffic and congestion making it quicker and easier to park on race morning.
